Membership Agreement

The agreement between Butternut Buddha and the CSA member is straightforward. You are responsible for:

picking up your share at the designated time and place,
notifying the farm of any problems with your share within 24 hours of pickup,
returning your box and lid each week, clean (they wipe down easily with a cloth)
notifying the farm for an 'vacation holds", any missed boxes will be donated to Portland Hotel Food program.
paying the farm on time so we can buy our seeds and etc!

As a provider we are responsible for:

Having the shares ready at the time and location agreed upon at signup.
dealing with issues and concerns in a timely manner
providing members with fresh, quality, organically grown produce.

Since faming involves many weather related risks, consistent quantities of harvest cannot always be guaranteed. While we strive to provide full shares every week there is the possibility of unforeseen weather related issues causing us not to be able to fulfill our weekly shares. This is a part of the risk members take in being shareholders in the farm. We can't provide refunds for a member share.
